Light at the end of the tunnel
A second consecutive day of summer meant it was time to cycle. The National Cycle route runs at the top of the road. We followed this traffic free route into the city centre for a tour of the cherry blossoms in The Meadows. Great to catch up briefly with Lady Findhorn before hurtling home through this tunnel. The cool air in the tunnel was a welcome respite from the oven like heat as we re-emerged from the sodium lit tube.
The afternoon was spent in the garden repairing the shed and planting flowers.
Later I headed out to The Portobello Reporter editorial committee meeting.
