Portobello High Street

I chose not to run on the beach this morning as I did not wish to be dismayed by all the litter left by yesterday’s sun worshippers/louts? Two uncivilised members of the public smashed a police car’s windscreen in Bath Street as it responded to a call to the beach. What is it about sunshine, booze and beaches that makes people behave so antisocially? Today’s blue sky and the blossom more than compensated for my uncharitable thoughts about day trippers to Porty!
