The madness continues

Today we drove to Portloe the access being down some extremely narrow lanes. We parked the car and walked along the coastal path to Hemmick Beach which we had visited before in September 2015. The temperature was more agreeable to walking today so we make good progress and made our return journey across fields and narrow country lanes back to Portloe. We walked for 12 miles today in 6 hours. My husband was not walking so well today as his legs hadn’t recovered from yesterday’s marathon. We know we only have one more day of dry weather this week so he will want to keep going tomorrow. My blip shows Portloe shimmering in the sunshine just as we were leaving this morning. It’s a very pretty village but has little in the way of amenities,
