It's Finished!

So much for having a day off, we finally finished about 3pm but it's all done. I washed the bedding and hung it out, and then we got the furniture out of the garage, cleaned it all down, and put everything on the decking - the boys obviously thought the sofa was there just for them, as they jumped straight on it and curled up!

We then decided to do a tip run and got rid of lots of stuff and then when we got back we cleared everything off the raised terrace at the back of the house as we're having the wall rendered and he's coming to start tomorrow.  

Once everything was done we got freshened up and went out - we parked at the Lido car park and walked along the undercliff walk to the marina and went for dinner to Bella Napoli which is a lovely, traditional Italian restaurant (not a chain).  I had avocado and prawns followed Osso Buco which was delicious, and Alan had goats cheese in breadcrumbs followed by pollo parmigiana.  We then walked the 3 miles back which was great as we walked our dinner off and was enjoyable too - almost 19,000 steps!

We're really pleased with the colours of the fence and decking and whilst the rest of the fences still need doing, we're ready for summer, and once the rendering is finished I can get the hot tub back out :-)

What fantastic weather it's been this weekend and on a bank holiday too!
