Today's recipe is from Jamie's Dinners recipe book - scented english creams - kinda like a milk jelly pannacotta hybrid. The two I made were strawberry & anise, and a basil cream.

The flavours were lovely and it was nice to have a different style of pudding (I usually prefer cake or something warm). The basil one was particularly moreish as it wasn't too sweet. The only problem I had was that the jelly didn't set enough for me to remove them from their moulds - they should have been able to be served as upside down jellies but when I attempted it with one of my creams, it just turned into a soggy, milky lump. Not pretty, but pretty tasty nonetheless!
