Another railway image

Another trip to York for a couple of days work. Gradually working my way through the various York Travelodge’s. This time I’m in the one on Layerthorpe Road. Modern, clean and doing the job so far.

Good journey up, train on time, seats a little cramped for a person on my stature.

Walked this evening from the hotel along the city walls then out along the river to Water End crossed the bridge and wakes back the other side. Ended up for a bit to eat at the Olde Starre Inne which claims to the the oldest licensed establishment in York.
