Picking up speed

Things are starting to get done. Walls in kitchen and bathroom repaired for the most part, texture was done a bit earlier in both rooms, and this evening I got the cut in for the kitchen done. With any luck I can do the bathroom cut in tomorrow morning and get both rooms painted as well with two coats.

Not sure what I'll be doing after that though. I ought to get the new counter top bought in, but I think I'll be doing some panelling in the bathroom first.

Interesting to think that once the bathroom is painted and panelling done, I only have to replace the toilet and reseat the pedestal sink and the room is completed. Redoing sink and bog will only take a couple of hours.

The nice thing is that once these two rooms are done things go really very quickly. We'll be moving on to painting the rooms in no time really, and once that's done it'll be a few small jobs.

Still trying to get to bottom of Jimbob's behaviour. Link my mouth (shudder) and my ears apparently is a sign of submission. I'm figuring that him getting on my lap for a cuddle is also submission. And I've read somewhere that once he accepts a pack leader he'll be less stressed. Had an incident s couple of days where he got very bitey whilst playing, and since I was wearing leather work gloves at the time, I was able to hold his jaws open and he didn't like that. 3 bites later and he really has stopped being quite so bitey. A definite improvement.

Still jumps on everyone though.
