Another Chilly One

Spent most of the day in the office - 850 words written - not really enough analysis yet but i'm pleased with progress on assignment and thoroughly enjoying the subject matter.  

Did pop out to my secret location to take photos of the gulls - low tide so the gannets were too far away.  

In the evening A and I went to a presentation about live kidney donors - such an impressive team within the NHS.   Apparently since the piece by  Lisa Summers on the BBC last month there has been an influx of altruistic donors.

When we got home watched a program on BBC Four about another welfare state success story - the Open University.   Times may have changed but these are public services which we should be fighting to preserve.
