Not A Partridge In A Pear Tree
There was a group of half a dozen of these beautiful birds in my garden this morning. I tried to sneak up on them but each time they scattered and then returned a few minutes later. I needed the zoom to get this shot.
They are Galahs - pink chested cockatoos found in most parts of Australia. They look exotic and are a lovely sight as they swoop in groups overhead, loudly discussing as they go.
