Kronborg Castle

Last day in Copenhagen and we decided to explore a bit more of the country by taking a train to Kronborg Castle.after checking out of our hotel.

It was another beautiful day and a visit to the “Hamlet Castle “ in its stunning location looking over to Sweden was a most enjoyable way to fill the rest of our day.

There was no shortage of photographic opportunities so I have added a few extras.taken around the castle. I added the sculpture of the giant Fish made out of plastic waste which we passed on the way there as it seemed very topical just now.

Our trip went a bit downhill with a very long flight delay back to Edinburgh thanks to weather problems the plane had encountered earlier in the day in the UK not helped by an extra half hour stuck on the plane at Edinburgh before someone could be found to escort us the few yards to the terminal building - grrrr ! Home at 2am instead of 11 pm.
