Parental Larch
A full day of strategic thinking and planning with logic models thrown in. A brief outing at lunchtime but by the close of play the rain had set in.
Did not deter me from walking to Dunkeld Cathedral where this larch stands.
It is the last of 5 planted in, I believe, 1738 from which seeds were taken to afforest Perthshire and form the first modern forestry plantation in Scotland, helping to shape the landscape we now have. The Dukes of Atholl led this activity.
