Minimalist hare

We went out for a pub lunch today and on the way back, as we were driving past fields in the beautiful South Downs, I remarked that I'd really love to see hares as I hardly ever do. Next thing you know, I spotted a pair of distant ears in a grassy field and Mr DA very kindly found somewhere to turn round so I could go and check whether I was imagining things. He dropped me off and drove back down the road to find somewhere to turn round again and, lo and behold, there were two distant hares, enjoying the afternoon sun. Shame they were so far away but I reckon a minimalist hare is better than no hare!
