Tiny feet!

An emergency blip today, we haven't been too far from home, and tonight I'm feeling that I may be developing a cold :-( I'm hoping it doesn't happen!
These are shoes that my Grandad brought back from China, as a young man he was in the merchant navy and he brought back all sorts of treasures. I always loved these, but could never understand why anyone would bind a child's feet to keep them small. The hand embroidery on these is just so perfect.
