Bronze Guide eh!

Who’d a thought it!
It doesn’t mean I can lead a walk but it does mean I can join other people’s walk free of charge which is pretty valuable to me. It cost me over £100 for the walks in the Autumn Walking Festival and a lot of these were half price because one guide gives half price deals to U3A members.
I think it’s about 18 months until we start the silver course so I should be able to learn a lot by just going on other people’s walks. But I also have a stack of books to study...
