gratitude humbug

After I wrote all that sappy stuff yesterday I pulled out my iPad and it was frozen. I tried to restart it repeatedly, pushing all the right buttons in the right order, over and over and over again and I was NOT grateful today. I took it into Apple tonight and the man pushed the same buttons in the same order and FOR HIM it worked. I grabbed his hands and investigated his fingerprints to see if there was something magical about them. I could detect nothing.
