In Festive mood?

We're trying. Gaffer, as often, says I'm very trying.

For the benefit of both/new readers ... I keep stressing that I do this as much for me as a diary as for the masses.

I'm not sure whether the third thing is yet to happen, or we're waiting for the other shoe to fall.

Not many weeks ago, less than a month, we realised how much we had relied on (And now missed) the wee chest freezer in the corner of the shed...Bought another.

Damgood job.

If you're contemplating a Fridge/freezer do not, repeat do NOT contemplate a Baumatic©. Our nice, shiny, new, kitchen had one.
I've just checked, it's longer ago than I thought, but still you don't expect to have to jettison a perfectly good item due to faulty physical bits, unconnected to its cooling functions.
The shelves were so bloody naff that any, normal, weight fractured the tiny fractions of an inch of plastic holding them up, (We're not talking MASSIVE overload here), we complained, they sent new one(s), they've gone the same way.

Yesterday the lass we threw a wobbly and wandered in to Dave Hudson's, we wouldn't pass them.

Upshot brand new Bosch© Fridge/freezer, ordered with minutes to spare yesterday, delivered today (After the weekly victualling run), fitted, stocked and running. The frozen stuff hammered into the wee chest freezer for the duration.

BAH HUMBUG!
