Common Raven

I saw raven's up in Alaska, but this is my first sighting here at home in Oregon. They flew in as a group, and picked up little seed pods in the grass and tried to break them open on the golf paths...it was fun to watch. They are amazingly stocky and their beaks are much longer than a crow.

We were also visited by the Flicker, more Sparrows, and the Junco's. My other shots are on FLICKR.
