Down by the River

G and I drove to Ely today to meet up with our good friends M, D and V. We used to walk together three times a week in Milton Keynes and I do miss the walks with such excellent company. Although bad weather was forecast, we fortunately missed it and managed a walk down by the river as well as a lovely lunch, a bit of shopping and an excellent catch up. Driving through Swaffham on the way home there'd obviously been a lot of rain and standing water was everywhere.
