Hedgerow Tractor
Back in the autumn had taken a new walk when visiting my beekeeper's supply shop in the hamlet of Eglofs in the neighbouring county of Ostallgäu. There are four counties making up the Bavarian part of the "Allgäu": East-, West-, Upper-, & Lower-. Parts of the neighbouring state of Baden Württemberg & Austrian Tirol also become attached.
As such there is no official geographical area, it is nowadays mainly a marketing "tool" for the tourism business as the area is the most visited in Germany. Really does have a lot to offer those who like the outdoors & nature.
Today went back again as I needed to get a photograph of a "Hedgerow Tractor" taken back then & posted on a UK Facebook group connected with such matters. This had resulted in a few comments that needed answering. Today Blip gets to see the 1958 Hanomag C281 tractor but I will spare the details & close-ups.
Instead as an extra photo, some of the lovely scenes Luna & I had on our 4km dog walk from Willofs, anti-clockwise towards Mindelberg, where I had planned to head northwards down into the forest before turning back to Eglofs. Realised halfway down the track that it would mean a lot of time in the shadows & I wanted to enjoy the last of the lovely afternoon sunshine. Turned back & took a shorter route.
