Home for christmas

My folks came to Edinburgh to pick me and Wesley up for our christmas hols today. Wesley was brilliant, he was such a good wee traveller - he barely made any fuss on the way back to the family home.

He's now settled in the conservatory and has made it through his first meeting with Misty.

My parents went out to walk Misty so I have half an hour of contemplation. I haven't been home since I buried Giles. You may have guessed it, but this isn't any pile of rocks, it's a cairn to mark Gilesy's grave. I miss him so much. I stood awhile and thought of him and watched the only video I have of him. I'm pleased we buried him at home. I love you Giles.
