Regeneration

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I know this is a bit of a strange picture, but this is where the fire was on Blackford Hill last year. I love the vibrant green growing through the frazzled and charred remains of the gorse bushes. It’s oddly beautiful.

The Prince and I had arranged to go out with Kitty Cat and Marsh tonight. They wanted to go out as they were child free for the evening and the plan was to go to their house for a pre-drinking drink before heading to Stockbridge. We ended up having such a good time there (and being joined by other friends), that we completely forgot to go out. Oops!
