Derby Party / Fundraiser

Darn. I missed this party because of another commitment. Held at The Watermark restaurant in Asbury Park, this Kentucky Derby Party was a fundraiser for retired racehorses. But in addition to a great time, there’s a great story about the unusual large matching hats. . . . . So my BFF Susan (short haired gal on the left) ordered her chapeau from Etsy. She built her stunning black & white & red stylish outfit around it. However, she accidentally redid the request online. Then, lo & behold, 2 hats arrived, but oops ‘sorry, returns not possible’. So she and friend Terry modeled each of their gorgeous outfits with the same grand hat!!! And a good time was had by all ! Marvelous!
