Birdies Nest w Babies AND Colorful Ribbons

In my sister’s tree sits this bird’s nest, complete with babies and colorful ribbons. She and her 4-yr old very precocious great-grandson actually sat quietly one day and watched momma bird take tiny twigs from the yard up to the nest. The best part was when momma found & started bringing some long tendrils of colorful ribbon. I had read somewhere that birds often decorate their nests with color. If you look closely, you can see several long pieces (6”-12”) of an iridescent ribbon . . . . . very interesting waving in the breeze . . . . very pretty.
