Serendipity

Trees!

A trip this morning, just locally, down the road to Ulverscroft Nature Reserve, which is a fabulous Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust site.

The bluebells are out and other wildflowers are beginning to spring up, no pun intended or maybe it was. The extra is of Herbert's Meadows, on the reserve, which the L&RWT guidebook tells me is the most species-rich field in Leicestershire, this is the marshy area of the meadow. I kept to the very edge to make sure I didn't trample on anything springing up.
