The Pineapple

The Pineapple is my entry for the Mono Monday theme of rooftops. Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting.

The Pineapple was built in 1761 by the Earl of Dunmore. It's only about 5 miles away from home and the building sits within beautiful gardens and woodland. I think it's probably a unique rooftop.

We'd been over at Culross for a walk and some lunch. It was terribly cold - only about 6 degrees - but it cheered up when the sun appeared. Stopped at the Pineapple on the way home for another walk. Flora, having been showered after the beach yesterday, fell into the newt pond at the Pineapple and was instantly both smelly (again) and covered in duckweed. She wasn't in the least frightened.

Our friend and guest M is cooking tonight so it's cup of tea time for me again.
