Day 126/19. Bank Holiday Steam

A brief visit this morning to the nearby Edwardian Twyford Waterworks pumping station on their open day.
Every few weeks they fire up the huge boilers and run the steam engine, the
1914 Hathorn Davey triple expansion engine which in turn drove the water pumps.
Engineering on a grand scale.
