Lovely To Look At.....
You've seen it along the roadside or a walking path----maybe even in your own yard----looking as innocent as could be with delicate, tiny white flowers that seem almost to float above the ground as they move gracefully in the slightest breeze. But you know looks can be deceiving and in this case, they certainly are, because beneath all that delicacy and grace, lies a heart of darkness. The flower some call Hedge-Parsley, dries up and goes to seed that sticks to everything like Velcro if you so much as look in its direction (well, almost), so I think the better, more descriptive name for it is Beggar's Lice! Don't be fooled by its delicacy---it is tenacious. If you mow it down, you just encourage it to multiply, so pull it up by the shallow roots and throw it away, before it takes over! It will----if you let it....
