Into the Woods, the Woods So Green

Everything is green here, and the green is evolving. It starts out as that yellow baby-green that doesn't even look real. Then it fades into the regular green of summer.

My husband and I took a vacation day and went to Cherry Run, not far from Lamar. This is a shot of my husband on the path before me, disappearing into the green woods. (If you go, be sure to wear a decent boot, as there is water EVERYwhere.)

Our day would include nabbing books at our local Bookmobile, hiking, wading in the cold water, listening to music, and grabbing two quick fast food meals. It was a fine day: a beautiful day, in fact, in the woods so green. . . .
