Dexter and His Dad: Reunited

After supper, we sometimes gather in the living room and just sit together and talk, and listen to music and look out the window. Dexter likes to climb up on his father's lap and sit there, looking quite contended indeed.

My husband was away on a backpacking trip from Monday into Tuesday. Dexter missed him a lot and so did I. This was the scene on Tuesday after supper: Dexter, sitting on his favorite lap, with one white paw stretched out, holding onto my husband's hand.
