Still hobbling

so  not going far from home. this sandy strip is less than a mile from the house but I'd never been there before.
With lack of mobility, I have spent some time looking at place-names - Tricia would say have become obsessed with them. Either way this is a place called Cleit-feora which I think comes from the Old Norse klettr-fjara meaning beach of the boulder. This little stone was one of the contenders.
Still sunny but the wind has turned to the NE and it has become cold again. The end of Summer perhaps..
