Red tulips

Our young guests have gone, leaving the bunch of tulips that they brought on Sunday, and a pair of socks (under the bed). Mr hazelh supervised seven loads of washing while I was on campus at a conference today.

Good news: Frances and I submitted a journal paper this afternoon, and I have almost mined to the bottom of my holiday email backlog.

Bad news: I still haven't shaken off my cold, and my right knee is very painful when I stand up/walk.

Exercise today: walking (13,387 steps).
