Fading beauty

Like many other blippers, I find it hard to resist a tulip on the turn. I brought this one in with a few others (yellow and pink) from our garden on Sunday to brighten my niece's bedroom.

I've spent the day indoors working at home. Of course I didn't manage to embark on the supposed main job of the day (examining a PhD), but I now have a good sense of the tasks that I need to complete before I escape for my summer holiday at the end of the month. I even enjoyed Nirvana of an empty email inbox for a few minutes this afternoon :-)

Exercise today: none (resting the gammy leg - oh, and the cold remains).
