The only splash of colour on a day when the rain, much needed, splashed down for most of the day.

A shame for the ODI cricket at The Grange which was rained off without a ball being bowled.

A good day for getting a haircut and sorting out home archives. It was cold enough in the evening to light the log burner.

Amazed. to see that two English football teams have made it to the European Champions’ Final in Madrid. (Pity, though, that one of them was not Manchester United!)
