Welcome Rain

North Norfolk has had very little significant rain for some time according to local news so the heavy rainfall today has been welcomed by farmers and by us for our garden.
It rained most of the day so with no outside distractions I really had to tackle my backlog of ironing, which took up the greater part of the day.
Although that sounds extremely unexciting, it was almost enjoyable!  M and I shared the conservatory, he was painting one of his watercolours,  and with the rain on the roof, some music playing and a view of the garden (albeit rather rain-streaked) it made the whole experience rather cosy.
