I thought they were red leaves

Caught a taxi into Funchal as one of our party wished to see the flower market on Friday - he was disappointed as there were not as many flowers as he expected.  While in the market I notices this tree with (I thought) red leaves - but out walking later saw the same tree with leaves and realised there were buds and flowers on it so this it my flower Friday Blip - thanks to Anni for hosting.  Back to the hotel and a light lunch as we were taking two of the party to Reids Palace Hotel for afternoon tea to celebrate their 70th Birthdays. Extra is view from the balcony at Reids Palace looking into Funchal.  We were stuffed when we came out and now need to rest before having a light dinner
