Clothes Crisis

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Exciting changes at work this week*. Today we started ‘dressing for our day’ which means casual dress.

For 99% of people, this is good news although Dermott is NOT happy**. Apparently, this means that he will have to buy A WHOLE NEW WARDROBE. He is steadfastly digging in his heels and is still coming into work in suit trousers and work shirts!

HR sent an email for those who don’t understand ‘casual dress’ to clarify that sports tops, jeans and flip flop are a bit too casual and some tw@t replied to the whole company with....

“Are polo tops for the Brazilian Polo Team allowed?
Polo is a sport so does that rule out polo shirts?
Asking for a friend.”

Needless to say, this person works in IT. Mind you, I’m not sure that asking about Brazilians at work is appropriate!
