Taking it seriously?

It has now become customary at the Rudolf Red Nose 5 mile race in Blackpool for people to dress in the finest outfit they have available.

In this blip we have an airline pilot, a naked chef, numerous Father and Mrs. Christmasses, and a few men who think they look better as women :)

A great turnout to run round a very wet course and much fun was had by all.

One poor lady took a nasty tumble and has sprained her ankle rather badly so various santa cloaks came in handy to keep her warm while we carried her up a short hill to an ambulance. I can't understand why the three men in drag didn't want to accompany her to the hospital :)

The really good news is she will be OK.

Tonight it's our Carol Service at Church followed by the annual booze up social. It promises to be a good night as members of the Church get persuaded to get up to entertain us. I may be persuaded to share the story from earlier in the week about how the fairy got to be on top of the tree.
