Market Kid

Sometimes the unexpected makes for the best photograph. I was shooting a vegetable still-life, for probably the hundredth time, in the market when this little guy's young sister let fly with a rapid sentence in Spanish. I, of course, didn't have a clue as to what she was saying, but when she pointed to my camera and he stuck this pose, I got the message quickly. A rapid burst of four shots and they were on their way. I was left with a fleeting impression of his mischievous expression, which I fortunately captured in the brief ten seconds we interacted. Thank goodness for easy to use cameras.
