WINDMILL

I have lived in this area for 23 years and still hadn’t visited our most historic local attraction...the windmill!!! Well today we corrected that and after church we went to see it. The young tour guide was impressive and it was such a lovely day to get some amazing views. Apparently when the original windmill burnt down the sails were turning and it looked like a giant Katherine Wheel!!!

We also went to check on Mum who had a fall in the garden in the hailstone storm yesterday. Although she was very shaken she was lucky not to have been seriously hurt as she was sitting in it for a while unable to get up. Hopefully now she will always take her phone with her!

Sometimes in the winds of change we find our greatest direction. ....well we planned on a roast chicken dinner but the winds of change took us to the local Indian restaurant:)))))
