Cloud Blanket

I felt marginally better this morning and as I headed out to get some last minute forgotten things (chorizo... I'm going to marinade some chorizo cubes in orange juice and then fry it with pancetta, ginger and shredded sprouts; I may blip the results if I get desperate), I parked up and went for a ten minute wander in the bracing air to get some photos and clear my fuzzy head.

It threatened rain all day, clouds low and fast moving. I saw an amazing sight of a single gap in the cloud and a ray of sun moving fast across the land like a search spotlight from a helicopter.

So I'm done which is good as I'm working tomorrow. Presents wrapped, food bought, I can do no more.

Except tin foil. Bugger. I forgot the bloody tin foil.
