In and out of Shadow
I've had a monstrous headache this afternoon; not a migraine but vice-like in intensity. I've masked it now with weapons grade medication and I hope it's gone when I wake up tomorrow...
I think it's that weekend thing. It's like you spend Monday to Friday tensed up trying to keep juggling and then it gets to the weekend. And when you relax something physical actually happens to kick you in the head. I rarely get headaches and migraines during the week.
It's not as if I'm overly stressed at work. I've got what I think is healthy stress, that you need to keep on top of it. If you have too little to do I think you find it's much easier to procrastinate, and then you find it difficult to even get that work done.
Anyway that's all boring - in more exciting news I won a competition at work on Friday for my Cow photo :o) Even if I say so myself, I love that photo, so it was great that it won. It was a joint win with another colleague - we both got the same amount of votes from visiting clients from about 16 pictures I think.
I never win anything! Except once when I worked as a charity fundraiser and I won my own raffle. Obviously I couldn't keep the TV.
So what's this photo then? It's a great little decoration on a carousel that spins above a candle; the snowflake moves in and out of the light of another red glass candle so glows momentarily. It reminded me of the state of my head today, in and out of shadow. Tenuous but hey ho.
And I wasn't going to go outside.
I was only going to write a short write up today too.
Thanks for the feedback, hearts, subs, stars and comments for Bradford's Flat Iron :o) Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow.
That's it
