Christmas Angel

Another indoor blip as the weather outside was awful for taking photos and I didn't even try as my glasses were covered in rain so the camera lense would have been the same. A disastrous day and it started off with hubby wakening me up to tell me the horrible black sooty water was all over the wall of the fireplace and was worse than ususal. We thought we had solved this problem but obviously not. It was a south east wind blowing last night full of heavy rain at it was bettering this side of the house. It is horrble to clean up and as long as it it raining is impossible as it just keeps coming. The next disaster was the plugs in the living room weren't working including the computer room so no TV and no computer. We tried a few things but nothing worked so we thought it must be damp in the plugs. We looked out some extension leads and plugged the computer and Wi-fi in and used the kitchen plug, fine they were working. We then set about to do the same with the TV but it took us ages as there was a mass of wires under the TV and we had a job sorting them out but awe got there and it is working. Next disaster was I was sitting having a cup of tea when I noticed a few hens feathers outside on the window and then Elle the dog from the shorehouse ran past and when I looked out there were more feathers and a dead hen and a cockerel looking very sad for itself (think he might be dead in the morning). Turns out she is in heat and had escaped out and came up to see the dogs and must have met the hen on the way up.
We were so fed up we went up to Scourie to P & J's for a chat and a beer.
As the plug for my Christmas tree is not working I haven't managed to get it up so this is a little angel I crocheted last year.
Forget to say yesterday when I was putting the brussels sprouts in P's car hubby shut the boot lid and hit me on the head and I now have a lump on my head. INR tomorrow? Can It get any worse?
