A Christmas Present
My journey to Thomas's house lasted over seven hours and left me feeling quite grumpy. Carrying four bags, mostly filled with Christmas gifts, on several trains, was a task I do not wish to repeat.
Of course, Thomas made everything better. He brought me a big, hot flask of tea to the station and hugged my stresses away.
We had a quiet evening with his parents, I sat there lazing in a comfortable chair, fighting to stay awake. We exchanged gifts, all of which were absolutely lovely. I slept on Thomas's whilst he watched television and had an early night.
Today was not filled with anything spectacular and was, on times, rather stressful, but it had its lovely moments.
