Dublin is in full Euro and local election mode and is therefore full of full lamp posts - no ban here on using them to display posters, and no reluctance to feature candidates on them . Indeed the universal approach is to display the full face .

However this is the election poster I liked best when taking a wee walk near Landsdowne Rd this evening .

It gives a simple message of responsibility and opportunity which sums up what democracy really is .
