Proud Weegie

The Mothership

Sorry - dull blip today. And I fully expect no stars, hearts or comments - but here it is.

Spent a pleasant day post-church with the Weegie family at a local shopping centre. We weren't looking for anything in particular - just wandering carefree round the shops. Oh, apart from Mr Weegie, he was panic buying - looking for a special present for the little lady in his life (me!) - and if you know me - I aint little, and I really aint no lady !!! (hahahaha).

We don't really do big presents, because we have one another (are you being quietly sick now?) - but since he forced me to think of something, I mentioned that I would love a Canon 50mm lens. However, camera shop was sold out. So, No 1 and Mrs Weegie (me again) - headed into the nasty bit of town, where the tramworks are still causing chaos - and managed to purchase one.

Now I'm very excited - and can't wait to play with it on Christmas morning. I also really enjoyed some mother daughter bonding with No 1 - a wee trip round Waterstones and HMV then home. We had lots of fun looking at old hippy CD's for Mr Weegie,

Food shopping done. Sitting down now.

Here's a picture of the mother ship. The powers that be have shut up shop tomorrow and given us the day off. Shortly before they make a load of us redundant - thanks for the cheque!

I think the reflective windows is to stop the mere mortals outside peering in at the battery hens inside (it puts them off their work !)

2 sleeps!
