Rhubarb, Rhubarb, Rhubarb

The 3 Amigos have gone for a sleepover at nonpcplod's. It’s very quiet without them.

We have been happy to be on the receiving end of Bill’s glut of rhubarb. I made a very nice rhubarb crumble and, at the weekend, Bill exchanged a jar of his rhubarb and ginger jam for half a dozen eggs. A fair swap I think.
The label refers to a conversation we had at band practice when we were discussing the different names for the childhood pastime
of knocking on people’s doors and running away. ‘Knock door bunk’, knock knock ginger, knock down ginger and knock and nash were the most popular, depending on whereabouts in the country you grew up.

Anyone got any others?
