Made it!

So tired this may not make sense... this photo (taken by our friend Paddy) shows me and Himself on The Saddle, a wonderful col between Glen Rosa and Glen Sannox on Arran. We took the long route, up Glen Rosa, on a wonderful day in which we heard multiple cuckoos, saw an adder and a golden eagle (magnificent, soaring), as well as a tiny lizard and swathes of bluebells.

It was perfect, it was knackering, it was hot at times and cool when we needed it. I walked over 35,000 steps and now I’m feeling every one of them.

Wouldn’t have missed it for worlds.
