Sponsored walk

The BBGA ran their annual sponsored walk tonight. This year the funds are going to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. A lot of the children did the walk, supported by leaders, parents and a few extras. I joined them too. There were different lengths of the walk, depending on the age/ability of the children and 73 walkers took part. I joined the longest one, approx 6 miles along the linear park and across the fields around the village. It was a glorious evening, which finished with refreshments outside.
