Sam the Ham

Darlingest sista Kate turned up with a whoppingly gorgeous leg of jambon yesterday which she'd wheeled by train from London through security checks from Paris to Roujan. And after a first boil in a pan, then a roast in something scrumpcious and a slathering of ridiculously-yummy-sweet-sour flavoured gorgeousness on top. Well, it's, obviously, a triumph.

L and I haven't had all that many hams here over the years. They are terribly difficult to get hold of locally. So this is a rare and a real treat.
