Phwoar!!!!.

Our lovely friends, P and S, brought her down through France from England. They even bought a car-fridge to make sure she'd be in tip-top condition on arrival. And she was.

Lizzie got up at 7 to do the prep and we eventually tucked in at about 1.45. It was worth the wait. A more succulent bird you couldn't imagine. Our first turkey here at Le Couvent, and what a success.
